Each passenger may take along 2 large pieces of luggage and a single piece of hand luggage. At the entrance to the coaches, there are luggage racks where you can place your luggage.
It is not possible to take tandems and other large objects with you. Skis may only be taken with you on the Ski-Thalys.
Since 1 February 2005, you are obliged to provide your train luggage with a label containing your first name and surname when travelling in France.

On board Eurostar, it is possible to take large pieces of luggage with you. You do need to deliver them to the luggage offices in Brussels Zuid, London St Pancras or Paris Gare du Nord; 24 hours later, the luggage can be collected at the station of arrival.
The cost for this service is € 15.
Passengers are advised to only take along luggage that they can easily carry and store in the spaces provided for it.
Smaller pieces of luggage can be placed in the luggage racks above the seats; for the larger pieces of luggage you may make use of the spaces between the seats that have been specifically designed for this purpose.
Normal luggage and winter sports accessories (skis, snowboards, etc.) are transported free of charge.
To ensure safety, items such as skis and snowboards should be transported in the luggage compartment of the sleeping coaches. In the ‘DeLuxe’ compartments, these items may also be placed upon request.
Non-regular luggage items (such as boxes, instruments and paintings) are subject to a surcharge of € 15. This surcharge can be paid on the train.
Travelling without luggage? Yes, you can! In cooperation with Flevobird Luggage Service, NS Hispeed can take care of the delivery of your luggage to destinations in Belgium, France, Germany and Austria. And if required, obviously also back to your home address. Travelling cannot be made more comfortable!
No less than one week prior to your departure, you inform us about your journey. We will then send luggage labels and a confirmation of the arrangement to your home address. Employees of the Flevobird Luggage Service will then pick up your luggage one day (or more) before departure and deliver this at the address provided on the working day that has been agreed to.
