Conditions

During the booking procedure, you will be asked for your complete name and date of birth. Your name will be printed on the ticket. You can use either iDeal or a credit card (VISA or MasterCard) as a means of payment. A link to your ticket is given both on the confirmation page and in the email which will be sent to you.

The following conditions apply when you print out your tickets at home:

  • Tickets you print out at home are issued in your name and cannot be transferred to someone else. Verification is based on a valid proof of identification, so be sure to bring your identification with you.
  • The email sent to you to confirm your booking is not a ticket, so you cannot use this email to travel with.
  • After you have booked your trip, you will receive an email that confirms your booking. This email will also contain a link to your ticket that you can print out at home. The standard fare conditions apply until you open this link. As soon as you open the link, these conditions expire and it is no longer possible to change or cancel the ticket you print out at home.
  • Remember that if you are booking for more than one person, none of the individuals in this group can cancel individually.

Acrobat reader

To print out the ticket, you will need Acrobat Reader version 3.0 or a later version. If you do not have Acrobat Reader, or if the version you have is earlier than this, you can download this program here at no cost.

Tickets are best printed out on A4 or "letter size" format in the portrait (upright) orientation. The resolution quality has to be high enough so that the ticket is easily legible. If you have doubts about the legibility, we advise you to print out the ticket again.

FAQ about homeprint

I’ve lost my printed ticket. What can I do now?
You can simply print out your ticket again. Open your confirmation email, click on the link to your ticket, and select ‘print’. The ticket is issued in your name and will only be valid in combination with your identification and can therefore not be used by someone else.

I’m having trouble getting the link to the ticket to work. How can I solve this?
It may be that the security setting on your computer is set at too high a level. Lower it and then try again. To change the security level, go to the start menu and select ‘settings’. Then select ‘control panel’ -> ‘internet options’ -> ‘security’ -> ‘custom level’ and lower the security level of your computer temporarily.

Do I have the right version of Acrobat Reader?
When Acrobat Reader opens, you will see an information screen in which the version is given. You can also pull up this information screen when you have opened Acrobat Reader and use the menu to select < Adobe Acrobat info>. You will need version 3.0 or a later version to print out your ticket. If you have an earlier version of Acrobat Reader installed on your computer, you can download a free update here.

If you have deleted your confirmation email, you can contact NS Hispeed Telesales at 0900 - 9296 (€ 0.35 per minute). One of our representatives will then assist you.
