Reserve a seat in advance at no additional cost. That way you can be sure that you can work uninterrupted or simply relax and enjoy your trip.

One carriage has been designated for reservations in both 1st and 2nd class. The other seats cannot be reserved at this time.

What fare types offer/require a reservation?

Can I select my seat if I make a reservation?

No, you will be assigned a reserved seat, and you cannot choose exactly which seat you will receive.

If I have a route pass or annual pass, can I reserve a seat for a longer time period?

That option is not available at this time.

How can I see which seat has been reserved for me?

The train has a fixed composition with carriage and seat numbers. The boarding signs on the platform at the station show where the carriages with the reserved seats are located in the train. Your seat number is displayed on the stickers over the seats beside the window, and the carriage numbers are displayed on the outside of the train beside the doors.
