Train schedule to Bordeaux
Several TGV trains depart daily from the Parisian Montparnasse station to places in the sourthwest of France, including Bordeaux, Poitiers, Angouleme en Futuroscope. From the Netherlands you can travel with Thalys to Paris Nord and then by taxi or metro to Paris Montparnasse.

Changing trains in Paris
From Gare du Nord to Gare Montparnasse
Travelling with the high-speed Thalys and TGV trains is convenient way of reaching the southwest of France. With Thalys you can travel from Amsterdam Central, Schiphol airport or Rotterdam Central on the high-speed track to the Parisian train station Gare du Nord. From there you can take metro 4 in the direction of Porte d’Orleans till you reach Gare Montparnasse station where all TGV trains to the southwest of France depart. Time needed in Paris to catch your connecting train is approximately an hour; this time has been taken into account by our booking system.

Tickets for the Paris metro
The ride from the Parisian stations Gare de Nord to Gare Montparnasse is within the cities central metro zone. Tickets for the metro can be purchased onboard in the Thalys, in the buffet car. This is convenient as you can avoid the queue at the ticket machine at the station. But, be quick, availability is limited.
