With Thalys you can travel from Amsterdam Central, Schiphol airport or Rotterdam Central on the high-speed track to the Parisian train station Gare du Nord. From there you can take the RER line D in the direction of Corbeil Essonnes till you reach Gare de Lyon station where all TGV trains to the (south)east of France depart. Time needed in Paris to catch your connecting train is approximately an hour; this time has been taken into account by our booking system.

The ride from the Parisian stations Gare de Nord to Gare Montparnasse is within the cities central metro zone. Tickets for the metro can be purchased onboard in Thalys, in the buffet car. This is convenient as you can avoid the queue at the ticket machine at the station. But, be quick, availability is limited.
TGV trains depart on a daily basis from Paris to several destinations in the east of France. On the basis of your chosen departure and arrival times, the bookings system will indicate which TGV connection to take.
