You can travel from Brussels to any of the larger cities in France on a daily basis. The advantage of changing trains in Brussels is that the connecting train departs from the same station, Brussels Midi (this is not always the case in Paris). Marseille, Montpellier and Lyon are all within an arm’s reach.

The high-speed TGV will bring you there quickly while you can enjoy some peace and quiet in our comfortable trains.
Train schedule to Southeast France
Every day, the TGV travels from Brussels South to Lyon, Marseille, Montpellier, Perpignan, Lille, Marne-la-Vallée and back again. You can travel with the InterCity Brussels or Thalys between the Netherlands and Brussels South.
Changing trains in Brussels
If you are travelling to Lille, Marne-la-Vallée-Chessy (Disneyland), Perpignan or Nice, then there’s a quick and easy stop in Brussels where you must change trains. With Thalys you can travel from Amsterdam Central, Schiphol airport or Rotterdam Central on the high-speed track to Brussels Midi. You could also travel to Brussels from The Hague HS, Dordrecht or Roosendaal with the InterCity train. From there you can immediately take a connecting TGV train to your final destination. At least 20 minutes before departures the platform number from which your connecting TGV train will depart will be announced. TGV trains usually depart from one of the lower platform numbers.

TGV trains depart on a daily basis from Brussels to several destinations in the north and southeast of France. On the basis of your chosen departure and arrival times, the bookings system will indicate which TGV connection to take.
