Lounge services

The NS Hispeed Lounge is equipped with all the facilities a frequent traveller needs: a comfortable writing desk complete with various socket outlets and fast internet connection, a media wall with televisions portraying the latest news and a reading table with a selection of international newspapers and magazines. And of course, a self-service bar with free drinks. There are also meeting rooms for hire at most of the NS Hispeed Lounges.

Locations and opening hours

All NS Hispeed Lounges are open from Monday to Friday from 08.00-20.00 hrs and on Saturdays, Sundays, and on public holidaysfrom 10.00-18.00 hrs. from 10.00-18.00 hrs. (NB: The lounge at Amsterdam Central is closed on Queen's Day, 30 April)

• The NS Hispeed Lounge at Amsterdam Central is located on platform 2A, next to the station restaurant.
• In Breda the lounge is situated in the Tickets & Service office. (NB: there are no meeting rooms in Breda)
• At Rotterdam Central the lounge is located between the Tickets & Service shop and restaurant La Place.
• At Schiphol Airport the lounge is located in Arrival Hall 4, across from the HEMA store.

NS Hispeed Corner Utrecht

At the moment there is no NS Hispeed Lounge at Utrecht Central, this will change after the planned renovations of the station are finished. At present there is a "Corner" which is located in the restaurant De Tijd in the corner of the main hall. This area is furnished with comfortable couches, a reading table with a selection of international newspapers and a media wall with televisions portraying the latest news.

The opening hours of the NS Hispeed Corner in Utrecht are Monday to Friday from 07.00-23.00 hrs, Saturday from 07.00-22.00 hrs and Sunday from 08.00-21.00 hrs.

Access to the NS Hispeed Lounges

If you have one of the following passes on the date of travel, you have free access to the NS Hispeed Lounge and NS Hispeed Corner:

• NS Business Card in combination with a 1st or 2nd class ticket or a bookig
• 1st class international ticket
• 1st class NS subscriptions (NS Annual Pass, NS Monthly Pass) or OV Annual Pass
• Members of Railteam Loyalty Programme (Railteam website).

Other passengers, thus including NS staff members, who possess a free travel 1st class pass have no access to the lounge.

Policy with regard to guests

Holders of the following passes may take along 1 person to the lounge as a guest free of charge:

• NS Business Card in combination with a 1st class ticket or booking
• 1st class international ticket

Holders of 1st class NS subscriptions (NS Annual Pass, NS Monthly Pass) or OV Annual Pass may take along one guest for € 12.50 for 2 hours.

Payments for reservations can only be made by using PIN (debit card).
