The City Night Line allows you to travel to Munich and Garmisch-Partenkirchen for as little as € 29 (single journey, 2nd class)! From there, you can make an easy transfer to many other destinations in Germany, and to Austria, Switzerland and Italy.
Every day, a night train leaves for Munich from Amsterdam Central. During the winter period (from 22 December to 28 March) the train departs every weekend (on Friday night) and continues on to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. You close your eyes and when you open them again, you are in the Alps! In this way, you arrive fresh and feeling fit and ready for the ski-slopes.
City Night Line departs daily at 20h32 from Amsterdam Central and travels via Utrecht Central and Arnhem to Munich. After a little more than 10 hours you arrive in the city centre after having had a good night’s sleep.
And for winter sport-lovers, City Night Line continues on to Garmisch-Partenkirchen during the period from 22 December to 28 March. Please consult the international train planner for more information about the timetable.
