During your trip through Europe, you can easily change from one train to the other. For the following train services a reservation is required: Thalys, TGV, Eurostar and CityNightLine (night train). A reservation is not required for ICE International, but we do recommend making one. When travelling to Belgium you can take an InterCity train for which it is not possible to make a reservation.
Reservations can be easily made at the larger European train stations. In the Netherlands you can do this via telephone or at a Tickets & Service office with an NS Hispeed counter.
Telephone: For bookings per telephone you can call NS Hispeed Customer Care at 0900 - 92 96 (€ 0.35 p/m). Booking costs are € 7.50 per person and € 2.50 transaction fees. From outside of the Netherlands, NS Hispeed Customer Care can be reached by dailing +31 30 233 1676. Mon. – Fri. from 08:00 to 21:00 hrs and Sat. from 10:00 to18:00 hrs.
